This Privacy Policy explains how "Beeuty" ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Beeuty mobile application (the "Service").
Images you submit (face data): When you use the Service, you upload a selfie or other skin-related image to generate skin analysis results. Because these images show your face, we treat them as face data and describe their collection, use, sharing, storage, retention and deletion separately in Section 2 (Face Data).
Facial geometry derived from your image (face data): To locate skin zones accurately, our servers compute a facial landmark mesh from your uploaded image and derive a small set of geometric measurements from it. This is also face data and is covered in Section 2.
Approximate location: We may derive your approximate location (city, region, country) from your IP address to provide region-relevant skincare insights (e.g., climate and environmental factors). We do not collect precise GPS location.
Device and usage data: We may collect information about your device and how you use the Service (for example, device identifiers, crash logs, and analytics events).
Technical logs: Firebase/hosting and server logs may record events such as access timestamps, IP address, and error reports.
This section describes every practice that applies to face data in the Service. "Face data" means the facial image you upload and the facial geometry we derive from it.
We do not collect Apple's TrueDepth / ARKit face-tracking data, depth maps, or any facial template intended for identification.
We do not use face data to identify, authenticate or recognize you; we do not compare it against any database of people; we do not create a faceprint for identification; and we do not use it for advertising, profiling, or to train AI models.
Face data is shared only with the following processors, and only to produce your analysis:
We do not sell face data, and we do not share it with any other third party, advertiser, data broker or analytics provider.
Your uploaded image is stored in a Google Cloud Storage bucket operated for us by Google, located in the
United States (us-central1), under a path scoped to your account identifier and
readable only by that account. The landmark mesh and derived measurements are stored alongside your analysis
report in Google Cloud Firestore. The functions that perform the analysis run in Google's
europe-west1 region in the European Union. Because the storage bucket, xAI and fal.ai are all in
the United States, processing your image involves an international transfer as described in Section 8.
Before you select or take a photo, the app displays a notice on the photo screen stating that your photo is sent to our AI provider for analysis and deleted within 30 days, linking to this policy. If you do not want your face data processed, do not upload a photo — the rest of the app remains usable, and the analysis feature simply will not run.
We use the information we collect to:
To provide skin analysis, we send your uploaded photo to a third-party AI service provider (xAI, operated by xAI Corp.) for processing. Specifically:
The annotated overlay image shown in your report is generated by fal.ai, which also receives your photo. See Section 2.3 for the full list of processors that receive face data.
We also use Firebase (Google) for authentication, data storage, cloud functions, and hosting. We do not sell your personal information.
Uploaded facial images are deleted automatically within 30 days of upload — see Section 2.5, which governs all face data retention. Other information is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. You can delete your analysis data and all uploaded images at any time from Settings → Clear Data in the app.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries where we and our service providers (including xAI and Google/Firebase) operate.
Beeuty is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. All skin analysis results are generated by AI for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or dermatologist for any skin concerns.
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top will indicate when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
